Your urinary systemis made up of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. The key elements inthe system are the kidneys. Your kidneys are a pair of fist-sized organslocated below the ribs toward the middle of the back. The kidneys remove extraliquid and waste from your blood in the form of urine.
Narrow tubes calledureters carry urine from your kidneys to your bladder (sack-like organ in thelower abdomen). Urine is stored in your bladder and empties through a narrowcanal called the urethra.
When parts of theurinary system are not functioning as they should, symptoms can vary or you maynot have any early symptoms. Symptoms can be mild, moderate or severe.

- Blood in your urine or semen

- Unexplained weight loss or loss of appetite

- Changes in urination (inability, frequency, pain, less output, incontinence)
